Angel's Rest Trail

This is by far one of my favorite trails in the Gorge. It's close to home, has a decent amount of vert and a great view. Starting from the Bridal Veil trailhead, you can use any of the connector trails and get as much mileage as you need (even continuing up the Larch mountain trail if needed). I've been broken into a couple times parking at the upper Bridal Veil lot so park down low if you can. Or just leave your windows down with nothing inside. I've never had a broken window there, but they have taken things.

Of course it's only usable part of the year (maybe June-September) as it's covered in either snow, or weeds. Most of the lower section up to Angle's rest can be quite busy on weekends but is passable year-round as there is rarely any sticking snow in the Gorge - although it can be quite muddy. The top section along the Gorge is covered in weeds after late July and largely unpassable and covered in snow November to June.

Once you get to the top and continue around, there are multiple streams and waterfalls. Wahkeena springs is a cool find and Fairy Falls (on the Wahkeena trail) are exactly 5 miles from the Bridal Veil starting point.
